Animal Control, your Town Council has passed an ordinance to control stray animals, vicious animals and incidents of animal cruelty. Please contact Town Hall to make reports. Our animal control officer will investigate promptly. This new ordinance is not a leash law. You do not need to register your animals with the town or buy licenses for such. However, you should have a collar on your animal so we'll know it's not a stray and you must take responsibility for any potentially dangerous animal you own. It's a violation of State Law if your animal causes harm and you will be held responsible
